Ben Baker
Ben is an Olinda local and has worked as a podiatrist since he finished his Masters of Podiatric practice and Bachelor of Applied Sciences in 2019. Ben’s keen interest to expand his knowledge and training provides his patients with a potent range of treatment techniques that include dry needling, injury rehabilitation and advanced nail surgery.
He provides an extensive service, ranging from basic foot care and palliative care encompassing all forms of skin and general foot care. He uses Gait Analysis (walking and running patterns) to diagnose and treat severe conditions, and posture enhancement techniques that include providing custom made orthotics (insoles) as well as rehabilitation exercise programs.
His experience in the public health sector extends to both hospital and community health settings that include high risk foot clinics.
Ben is committed to the early prevention of lower limb pathologies, particularly in relation to diabetes management and the prevention of complications from diabetes.
When he is not fixing feet, Ben enjoys football cricket, camping, and spending time with his partner Alycia.
